This qualification is designed to:

- Enable learners to demonstrate their skills by producing evidence from their work activities, to meet national occupational standards.
- Help learners will acquire care management skills in the Health and Social Care sector.

Entry requirements
Learners must have:

Academic
Relevant NQF/QCF/RQF Level 5 diploma or equivalent overseas qualification as recognised by UK NARIC.

Age
Learners must be 18 years old or older at the beginning of the course.

Experience
Mature learners (over 21) with management experience must check with us prior to registering.
04
Language proficiency
Non-native English speakers must demonstrate English language proficiency.
Structure
The completed qualifications consists of:
- 6 Mandatory units
- A combined total of 120 credits
- 1200 hours Total Qualification Time (TQT)
- 480 Guided Learning Hours (GLH)

- Research Methods for Healthcare Professionals (20 credits)
Duration
The qualification is delivered through two routes
Both are flexible in their delivery to accommodate part-time and distance learning.
We deliver this qualification either online or face-to-face through lectures, tutorials, seminars, workshops etc. You choose the pathway that suits your circumstances.

Assessments
How will you be assessed?
All units within this qualification are internally assessed by us and externally verified by OTHM.
The qualifications are criterion referenced, based on the achievement of all the specified learning outcomes.
To achieve a ‘pass’ for a unit, learners must provide evidence to demonstrate that they have fulfilled all the learning outcomes and meet the standards specified by all assessment criteria. Judgement that the learners have successfully fulfilled the assessment criteria is made by our Assessors.
